Synopsis
With a foolish mother and the need to look after her younger sister, “pretty boy” Go Eun Chan has to give up her feminine image to help support the family with multiple jobs. Because of her previous experience with Tae Kwon Do, Eun Chan has quite the bold and opinionated personality. Choi Han Kyul seems to know women well and thinks of himself as a great guy.
After accidentally being mistaken for a man by Han Kyul’s older brother, Choi Han Seong, she starts working at Coffee Prince, and falls in love with the hot-tempered owner Choi Han Kyul. Han Kyul hires Eun Chan to avoid an arranged marrage by pretending to be romantically linked to a “gay” Eun Chan. But Choi Han Kyul slowly starts to develop feelings for her, but still doesn’t believe in love. Eun Chan also starts to have feelings for Han Kyul but can’t confess that she’s a woman, Han Kyul, continues thinking that the agonized Go Eun Chan is a man. Choi Han Kyul thinks he’s experiencing feelings of homosexuality towards her, and gets heartsick. This side of him was drawn in a risky but fun way.
The part when he discovers that Go Eun Chan is a woman is shown in an undemanding way, and the story doesn’t concentrate on just these two people, but also on the other people who frequent Coffee Prince. These people are shown one by one in a natural way, and since the story isn’t just about romance but about the natural conflicts of all the characters.

but overall this is A MUST SEE DRAMA! the cast, the crew, the storyline is just awesome. hoping for SEASON 2. but pls wait for GY to comeback from his services, it wouldnt be the same without him

i watched this on tv and bought the dvd to re-watch this show again, purchase the albums for this show too…
i was thinking maybe the actors, actresses, director, producers and crews of the this romantic, interesting and funny drama will view this comment. (mayb i think too much)
Just want to say, this show really brightens the days of mine after watching and it is really like a cup of nice coffee, which is addictive after this 1st cup.
Without the great idea of the script writer, i don’t think everyone all over the world will get to watch this fantastic show and without the director to cue the actors and actresses to lead them into the show and inviting them to participate this this drama, i don’t think this show will be possible… Without the actors and actresses of the show, i don’t think we will fall in love with this drama or even know who they are…
I just want to say thank you for having to create this Drama and open my love for Korea show…
I really like this coffee prince…. THUMBS UP…

the uniqueness of the story is the real essence of this korean drama .. lahat perfect .. characters pati role nilah sobrang bagay ..

winner talaga coffee prince!!!I have watch already the whole episode, as in hanggang katapusan!!!kakakilig mga lambingan at mga conflicts nila andy at arthur!!!!hay,,,,coffee prince is the best of all the koreanovela ever screened on tv!!!!I can’t stop myself smiling whenever i watch it….i can’t forget all the kilig moments…and i can’t stop myself to adore arthur..he’s so cute!!!!!!!!all i can say is coffee prince is not a typical love story unlike the other koreanobela….even “my bestfriends girlfriend” walang binatbat sa coffee prince……GO COFFEE PRINCE!!!!!!

I agree with qing’s comment (comment #14) re error in their drama summary. I have just finished watching this drama and it was great. I enjoyed it, few laughs and a bit of teary moment. To sum it up…. it’s worth watching.
