MBC have interest for Coffee Prince Season 2
Lead by Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye, Korea’s MBC Channel’s popular drama Coffee Prince broadcasted Episode 17 Finale on the 26th August. Unfortunately, ratings were unable to break 30%, only reaching 27.7%. MBC has already expressed interest in filming a sequel
The night before, Coffee Prince’s actors and staff went to some Charcoal beef restaurant in Seoul for celebration party and to watch the finale together. On the night, bills were paid by female lead, Yoon Eun Hye. She and Gong Yoo both really liked CP, EH said “This drama was natural, simple and honest. On the filming sites, the atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant/cheerful. Even though I had to cross-dress in the drama, giving up the chance to pretty myself, it was because of my natural dress up that lead to even more love from the public.”
Gong Yoo says: “I never even thought that the drama’s ratings would be able to border 30%, everyone really likes this drama, EH and I both felt that even if ratings performance wasn’t that good, it definitely is an outstanding drama. During my time filming the drama, it never felt like i was going to work, more like going to have fun. It’s been a while since i’ve had fun to this happy extent! So I need to thank EH and the director.” Gong Yoo also announced: “CP might be my last work of art/creation before I serve in the army, even though i’ve already received notice that i’m to enlist in October, but it might get postponed. However, at the lastest, i will still enlist within the year.”
Aside from this, alot of viewers wish for a sequel, even helping the channel in brainstorming ideas – pointing towards YEH’s Eunchan to become the “2nd store”’s boss. MBC also expressed interest in filming a sequel, but because of GY’S enlistment he may not be able to participate.

Suddenly they have fancy car came……all the people in that place is very consious about the someone inside the car..Of course oppa gong yoo is consious too…..AND AFTER FEW SECOND….the mysterious person will going outside….OH!MY GOD……AND THAT’S YOON EUN HYE/GO,EUN CHAN…….WHEN SHE WALKING ON COMING TO OPPA GONG YOO…HER SILKY LONG HAIR IS FLYING SLIGHTLY……..(like in episode 2…when they blind date of oppa gong yoo,all the things that they pass by,was flying..the cotton candy,the skirt of some woman,the all car was open…OH MY IT’S SO FUNNY…I’M VERY HAPPY IN THAT EPISODE)…
her hair is long and straigth…she wear a white dress that fitted to her and its curtsy…she wear a high hills sandals….she like an angel…..
when unni yoon hye acces to oppa gong yoo, she lap to him…she kiss his nose,two sided of his cheek,forehead,and lips…oppa gong yoo is truly amaze……………..

then you care to the nxt event….
unni yeh called the grandmother of oppa gy…………..oppa gy visit his family together unni yeh….his family was truly amaze too..,because of unni yeh apperance…then after that…they went in coffee prince….(i know that, its so hard to do because OPPA LEE UN IS DEAD NOW……but,please…accept my favor….it will be entertaining)
i wrote this because im very dissapointed to the end….because oppa gy and unni yeh did not marrid,they have no baby and oppa lee sun gyun and unn chae jung ahn….too,about ji,ha rim,no, sun ki ETC.
BY THE WAY ABOUT IN COFFEE PRINCESS,PLEASE PLEASE make unni yeh manage that coffee shop..it’s so good…..and please about they marriage i want that is GRADIOS..unni yeh wear a white long gown,and oppa gy is very handsome in that time…but the decision is in yours…it will be traditional or modern wedding..but for me i like modern because, i saw now unni yeh wearing a traditional gown in princess hours…..

I desperately want a second season for this show, it is so awesome. This is my first Korean show I’ve watched and I had tons of fun in each episode I watched.
I’m truly thankful for the producer and the actors for this amazing show.

CP is one of the best Korean Drama ive watched, and i will keep on watching on and on because the story was really great and GY and YEH are really compatible and the their tandem was really great. Hope for the next sequel of CP is they will retain the old cast. Having new cast in the CP is not good and you will just ruin the story that the fans and other people watched. Hope you will not hoping but you must retain the old cast of CP, and you can start filming the CP 2 once he finished his military service… Love you GY and EH… hope to see you both on CP 2… Love yah GY and EH..

I am a korean drama fun from Turkey.
I have met korean dramas in 2009 and I can tell you that
Korean daramas are incredable and Coffe Prince is one of my favorite.
I can even not find the words to explain my feelings.
What have you done to me that I can not watch anymore drama(even my favorite american daramas) if its not korean
And how its posibble that you can touch EVERYBODY ‘S felling from ALL AROUND THE WORLD ? I think its because you make the people happy:)

I first encountered the Korean dramas on local public television here in Philadelphia and found them really charming and educational too–you get to have fun and learn a bit about Korean culture. Coffee Prince was great–just finished watching tonite and it would be wonderful to have a second installment–how does Go Eun Chan change after two years in Milan? How do she and Han Kyul change as a couple? What happens with the coffee shop and the whole gang? But I agree with the others–the second season would need as many of the original actors as possible. Let’s hope it happens!

I’m Cricket, from the United States! I recently finished watching Coffee Prince and I was extremely excited to hear that MBC was considering shooting a sequel. I was equally disappointed to hear that they may replace Gong Yoo as the lead. To me, that just seems absolutely improbable. I can’t help but feel that ratings would plummet if they replace Gong Yoo. He’s the character that we all fell in love with watching and to replace him just seems very…cheap. The cast is already going to have to be changed a bit because of Lee Eon’s untimely death…
Long story short!
MBC! Wait for Gong Yoo to come back!

Hi I am Tara from Nepal (now living in London). I have been watching Korean drama and movies for a year now. The most I enjoyed is obviously Coffee Prince…..it has a feel good factor, down to earth and the dialogues are fabulous. Loooove all the characters of the CP. The acting is wonderful, made me love all of them.
If you are making the sequel, please wait for Gong Yoo. Without him it won’t be the same.

In the heart of N.Y.C. there’s a small cafe called the coffee prince, it is run bya teenager called Remy So. So what’s so special about this little cafe?
The cafe only hires good looking guys. Yum isn’t it? You can always find the cafe filled with girls or guys there to check out girls and every once in a while, there’d be an opening in the cafe and boys would line up forever just for a short interview. You don’t need much, just the knowlegde of how to make coffee, wait tables and of course, you have to be good looking to get in. Oh and the pay is great, a sweet $25/hour + tips. But can the Coffee Prince compete in the tough N.Y.C? Will the big named companies take over?

Hi,
The first I saw this drawma was by accidet, when i can’t sleep at night. I turn on the tv, in my country Indonesia this drama broadcast in one of tv station at 11pm-12pm. After that 1st time, i just feel i addicted to this drama, so touchfull..i feel that i am on that drama, i could feel what they feel, awww amazing, i never felt like this before when i watch some dramas before.
I love the actor and actress there especially “Hank kyul and Eun chan”.
Hope they will do the second part BUT PLEASE WAIT FOR GONG YOO……without him the chemistry will not impressed many of the fans of this drama.
WHEN MBC WILL SEND THEM TO INDONESIA FOR FANS CONFERENCE????

OLA from SPAIN!!!!!!!! actually we are not fond of watching korean drama here, but a friend who visited phil.brought a 3dvds here( CP,My Girl, fated to love you)and honestly we are in love,addicted to CP#1 we like very much the two lead role YOO&YEH. were looking forward for the part 2 but without GONG YOO,better not do it,wait for him.so CP will be completely perfect, and exciting.

I have watched some korean dramas, but Coffe Prince is the best so far. Most of korean drama teel story about rich guy fall in love with poor girl, so does coffe prince. But this drama somehow has different taste. The picture were beautiful, the story was great, the soundtrack fit the scene so well. It was cute, funny, sweet, entertaining, but also touchy. The story was unlike another korean drama, it was more down to earth. I think it’s better than Full House & Boys before Flower ( I really dont like the last title >.

The story line and the dialogue are just outstanding!!!! I’ve never seen anything like it! It’s characters are complex, yet delightfully cheerful and funny. Unlike Boys Before Flowers, the main characters in CP had more of a real world relationship and touched on all the points that would affect a couple like that in real life…from sex to money issues, to why they like each other, everything. And the dialogue was never predictable. The characters said out loud what the viewers were thinking at home, which was so refreshing! For example, when it seemed that Han Gyul liked Eun Chan at the beginning (when he thought she was a boy), she did say it out loud to him, so as a viewer you never got frustrated nor complacent with the series. And to top it all off, the drama is sooo happy!!! Everything from the beginning to the end, is happy and bright and fun! Proving that a series doesn’t need to have depressing, over the top drama to be successful. I loved it every single second of it, and for the first time, I am not disappointed with the ending. Please, please, please, do make a second season! I am sure it will be more popular than the first because more people will know about it by then!

I just finished watching this drama for the second time and I couldn’t help but love it even more this time around. I watched the special episode that I didn’t even know existed! I love everything about CP! Especially how Eun-Chan’s character was made to have a dream to become a barista even though it’s something that society “belittles”. I love the way how it expresses homosexuality too. The way it portrays homosexuality was impressive, I thought the director did a great job. If there is a sequel, hopefully, Gong Yoo is in it! He makes a great Han Kyul and hopefully the fans, casting crew, etc. feels the same way =].
