MBC have interest for Coffee Prince Season 2
Lead by Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye, Korea’s MBC Channel’s popular drama Coffee Prince broadcasted Episode 17 Finale on the 26th August. Unfortunately, ratings were unable to break 30%, only reaching 27.7%. MBC has already expressed interest in filming a sequel
The night before, Coffee Prince’s actors and staff went to some Charcoal beef restaurant in Seoul for celebration party and to watch the finale together. On the night, bills were paid by female lead, Yoon Eun Hye. She and Gong Yoo both really liked CP, EH said “This drama was natural, simple and honest. On the filming sites, the atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant/cheerful. Even though I had to cross-dress in the drama, giving up the chance to pretty myself, it was because of my natural dress up that lead to even more love from the public.”
Gong Yoo says: “I never even thought that the drama’s ratings would be able to border 30%, everyone really likes this drama, EH and I both felt that even if ratings performance wasn’t that good, it definitely is an outstanding drama. During my time filming the drama, it never felt like i was going to work, more like going to have fun. It’s been a while since i’ve had fun to this happy extent! So I need to thank EH and the director.” Gong Yoo also announced: “CP might be my last work of art/creation before I serve in the army, even though i’ve already received notice that i’m to enlist in October, but it might get postponed. However, at the lastest, i will still enlist within the year.”
Aside from this, alot of viewers wish for a sequel, even helping the channel in brainstorming ideas – pointing towards YEH’s Eunchan to become the “2nd store”’s boss. MBC also expressed interest in filming a sequel, but because of GY’S enlistment he may not be able to participate.

No more Gong Yoo… T_T Now I’ve become one of his fans, he can act pretty well in Prince Coffee, why don’t they wait for him?
I think they should get a replacement actor which above Gong Yoo’s act, if not…
It will be another bad sequel, yet I will see the sequel since Yoon Eun Hye is a great actress, she makes my stomach giggles a lot.. LOL
Success for them and I will certainly wait for their sequel.

MILLIONS OF FANS OF CP will agree with me, CP2 will never be the same without Gong Yoo, I’ve watched it so many times and even up to now I still do at night after my work. I think I have been addicted to it, I never watched any Koreanovela like CP. I loved COFFEE PRINCE a lot. Please we beg for MBC to wait for Gong Yoo and we hope also that it will be fine to Yoon Eun Hae if they will be waiting for Gong Yoo. They really look good together and CP2 will be a as successful as CP1 if they will have same castings. Please Please. We look forward to it…… I’am also saying these words in behalf of the fans here in the Philippines. Thank you MBC

My mom and I truly love CP. We watched its DVD like 20 hours non-stop. And to be honest, we were never really fans of Korean drama but CP is different. I think it’s the chemistry between EH and Gong Yoo. So, I think we can wait for GY, you know, it’s just two years.
Pls make the 2nd episode with all the cast. We love them all.

CP is a great and interesting korean drama. i’ve watch it 4 times already.

Though I really can’t picture a sequel without Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye together, I really don’t hope for that sort of sequel. Please wait for Gong Yoo and then make a sequel!! We’ll all be waiting!!

hi! i really really like this drama because i think EH and GY are hella cute together. I was just sad that the ending ended that way so a sequel must be done. But GY has to be there and no replacement because thats wack if hes not there besides hes cute. Im up here in states and i stay up late night at night just to watch this drama i want more
(the couple should date it real life theyre so cute together i love it!!!) please do a sequel

ohh please do wait for mr. gong yoo… coffee prince won’t be really coffee prince without him… He’s really the main charac with eun chan (hi! Eun chan)…
we just wished to have a season 2 as soon as possible bcoz it’s kinna thrilling.. what will happen? did they get married? have child?… uhh
coffee prince is really a very nice drama… i really liked it… for me it’s the most interesting and beautiful Korean drama that you wouldn’t wish to miss… oohhh please season 2!!!

Well, Coffee Prince is quite a good drama and I think the korean drama fans in Malaysia are very satisfied with it.But for me……….17(or maybe 18 ) episodes is quite a disappointment.Maybe if the director wants to make the second sequal,make sure that it has longer episode(And Gong Yoo,do well in your military service,Bye!!!!) .

I really hope there is a sequel though I don’t know if it will be as good without gong yoo because he played such major part in the show and viewers have become attached to the character
